Little by little, we’re getting a better picture of what Kia’s next Optima will look like.

Following last night’s release of a single front-quarter picture of the North American (N.A.) specification model, a Korean Domestic Market (KDM) version of the 2016 Optima was captured undisguised in its home country.

From these pictures, we see that for the most part, the N.A. and KDM models are alike, with some differences in the front bumper.

Very much like Jaguar and its new XF, the Optima’s design is evolutionary – perhaps even…facelift-y, and while these two cars aren’t related in any way, it’s funny that one of the main changes in the styling of both is the addition of a third side window.

The fourth generation Optima will enjoy its global debut at the New York Auto Show next week and will go on sale later in the year.
