The Saleen-modified Black Label S302 is the top of the range pack offered by the manufacturer/tuner for the current Mustang. It pushes the stock V8’s power up to 750 hp through the use of a twin-screw supercharger.

To us, it sounds like a direct stab at the Galpin Rocket, an extensively modified version of the ‘Stang that’s meant as a nod to the 1968 original Shelby GT500.

The Saleen version debuted at a special event in Los Angeles, and it obviously also comes with plenty of mods to allow it to handle the extra oomph. It has uprated suspension components, an LSD, better tires and bigger brakes (15-inch rotors all-round).

Inside, there are special touches dotted all over the place. Most surfaces have been re-covered in different materials, and, well, we like the way that Alcantara looks; gives it a more premium feel than the stock model.
