The purpose of camouflage is to remain undetected when stalking or hiding, but somehow, we can’t see Mansory’s Sahara Edition G-Class passing by unnoticed. Then again, isn’t that the purpose of getting a car tuned by a brand like Mansory?

Revealed without much fanfare at this week’s Geneva Motor Show, the Sahara Edition is based on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUV.

Besides the…very visible camouflage wrap, it sports a wide body kit made out of carbon fiber that adds some 40mm in width, as well as new bumpers, side skirts, a scooped hood, a bespoke front grille, new headlamps, roof spotlights (you know, just in case a poor soul didn’t see you coming in the rear view mirror), and huge 22 inch wheels pushed to the edges of the extended wheel arches.

A Mansory-style makeover takes place in the interior that was completely revised, somehow blending an embroidered stylized Falcon design with camouflage accents…

Finally, a re-tune of the G63 AMG’s twin-turbocharged V8 yields an increase of 292hp and 240Nm (177lb-ft) over the standard SUV to 828hp and an electronically limited 1,000Nm (737lb-ft) of peak torque respectively.
