Citroën has uploaded a teaser photo on its official Twitter account which shows a detail of a new Aircross model, most likely a concept SUV.

The name Aircross is already used by the automaker for the C4 Aircross SUV and C3 Aircross crossover, the latter model only available in South America. So what’s with the new Aircross?

Citroën accompanied the teaser photo with this description: “Have you ever seen a camera on four wheels? No? So, be ready on 8th of April… #Aircross.” This presumably means the Aircross will feature many video cameras for a 360-degree view around the vehicle.

The teaser image shows a portion of the front end of the Aircross, which features somewhat similar headlights to those seen on the C4 Cactus, with the DRLs located above the headlights in two separate areas.

The Citroën Aircross concept may preview a successor to the C4 Aircross, but nothing is official so far. We’ll know more on April 8, when Citroën will uncover the mystery.
