He’s just not going to present Top Gear any more. We have news that Jeremy “the Punisher” Clarkson hasn’t been completely kicked off the BBC boat, just the world’s favorite motoring/entertainment show – he isn’t actually banned from appearing on their programs…
So, on April 24th he will appear on the Have I Got News for You show on BBC1 (2014 episode when Clarkson hosted posted below). The Mirror quotes a BBC spokeswoman who said “Jeremy ’s contract has not been renewed on Top Gear but he isn’t banned from appearing on the BBC.”
The source says it’s expected that Jeremy will come under fire from the show’s presenters Paul Merton and Ian Hislop, plus the other guests also featured. Apparently, “BBC chiefs took several weeks to decide whether to let him appear.”
It should make for an interesting watch, so mark it down in your calendar or wait for the recording to hit the web sometime after it airs.
