You’ve already met Harry Metcalfe’s Lamborghini Countach, one of the most popular models ever made in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Metcalfe recently got hold of a new Huracan and wanted to find out how much of the Countach’s DNA can be found in Lamborghini’s latest creation.

In terms of design, the founder of EVO says Lamborghini has nailed it with the Huracan. It may not have scissor doors, but it sure looks like a proud offspring of the Countach. As for driving impressions, unlike the Gallardo, Metcalfe says the Huracan has a proper transmission.

Thanks to its super fast shifts, the 7-speed dual-clutch unit contributes significantly to the staggering 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 3.2 seconds. But despite its impressive performance, the Huracan is a perfectly usable supercar for every day driving, which made Metcalfe praise Lamborghini for the “dynamite package” it managed to create.
