Following the Kadjar, Renault is said to be preparing a larger, seven-seat crossover model.

The new SUV would slot between the Kadjar and the Espace, but will be mainly aimed at Asian markets.

Photoshop manipulator Theophilus Chin imagined what the model would look like using design cues from the Espace – the most obvious of which are the headlights and taillights. You may notice that the name chosen by Chin is Ondelios, which was used by Renault for a concept car in 2008.

However, the upcoming SUV will most likely have a name that will begin with the letter C or K, as Renault’s senior vice president for marketing, Michael Van Der Sande, said last month.

The upcoming SUV will be based on Renault-Nissan’s CMF platform, the same one used by crossovers such as the Qashqai, Kadjar and X-Trail.
