Shelby already offered an angrier version of the Ford SVT Raptor, but now it has cranked up the mods to offer a pack that boosts power up to 700 hp – they call it “Baja 700.”

Only 50 will be produced/modified for $45,000 a pop, although that doesn’t include the price of the “donor” vehicle.

What makes it so darned expensive? Well, the promise of speed over rough ground, hence the Baja name. The power is boosted via a Whipple supercharger that also adds a new throttle body, new injectors and heat exchanger. It all breathes through a custom Borla exhaust and sits on fully upgraded suspension and tires.

Should you need extra features, aside from the standard visual treatment (badges, skid plate, gauges and custom interior), you can specify stuff like electric side steps, Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers and different types of LED illumination.
