Yes, nowadays its all about hybrid hypercars, but as fast as they might be, there’s still a mountain left to climb.

And its called Koenigsegg. Arguably the world’s fastest production car – yes, faster than the Hennessey Venom GT and the Veyron Super Sport, according to K-segg of course.

Speaking of which, it will absolutely monster the Bugatti Veyron..which is what the P1, LaFerrari and 918 are currently up against performance wise.

This though, this is next level stuff. This is CCX vs Agera. Old vs new. Should be great, right?

As Shmee150 points out, the CCX does have better acceleration off the line (not on paper though), but thats about as far as it goes when up against the world-conquering Agera.

The CCX is powered by an 806 PS, 920 Nm monstrosity of a V8 power unit, while the “regular” Agera packs 940 HP and 1,100 Nm of torque. We’re pretty sure this called re-worked Agera N is actually an Agera R which is even more powerful at 1040 HP. The rear wing gave it away.

What separates these cars from all of their rivals is their weight, or lack of to be exact. For example, an Agera R is around 100kg lighter than a LaFerrari and has more power, so you get the picture.

Overall, an interesting event. Too bad we couldn’t see any in-car footage so as to get a better idea of the precise difference in acceleration.
