Ford has announced styling, equipment and comfort upgrades for Europe’s best-selling small car, the Fiesta supermini.

The B-segment car is now available in three new colors (Magnetic, Candy Red and Silver Silk) and with a wider choice of powertrains for different variants.

The Fiesta ECOnetic model is now equipped with Ford’s 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine, achieving 3.2 l/100 km (88.2 mpg UK or 73.5 mpg US), with corresponding CO2 emissions of 82 g/km. This accounts for a reduction of 16 g/km since the model was first introduced in 2008.

The automaker also has extended the range of Fiesta Red and Black Edition models to include the 125PS (123hp) 1.0‑liter EcoBoost petrol and 95PS (94hp) 1.5-liter TDCi diesel versions. Furthermore, the 140PS (138hp) 1.0‑litre EcoBoost engine, which was previously only available with Fiesta Red and Black Edition models, will now be offered with Titanium and Sport models as well.

In terms of equipment, the Fiesta Trend trim level gains enhanced visibility with halogen projector headlamps and LED daytime running lamps, as well as a leather steering wheel and handbrake.

The Fiesta Titanium trim level now offers a chrome lower grille, new 16-inch alloy wheel designs, and new seat trims with ecru detailing and matching stitching for the steering wheel, gearshift gaiter, handbrake and floor mats.

For some body colors, Fiesta Sport customers can specify different colors for the roof, including Frozen White, Panther Black, Race Red or Candy Blue.
