Just last month, we spied a heavy camouflaged 2016 Santa Fe facelift testing in Europe, but it seems that Hyundai has already finished off the update in Korea.

A bunch of uncovered 2016 Santa Fe SUVs were caught parked outside a Hyundai facility in its home country revealing the minor exterior tweaks to the design, which should be common with the international version of the vehicle offered in Europe, North America and elsewhere.

The front end of the mid-size SUV pictured here in the regular wheelbase body that’s called “Sport” in North America, gets new headlamp clusters, a deeper, more 3-dimensional grille with three chrome slats, and a redesigned bumper with new fog lamps.

At the back, there seem to be new tail lamp graphics, a tweaked bumper design and rectangular instead of oval exhaust pipes.

From our spy shots of the European tester, we know that the updated Santa Fe will obtain a larger infotainment screen with fresh switches on the center console.

The KDM version of the 2016 Santa Fe will be revealed in the coming weeks, with other market specific models to follow by early next year.
