Things must be really going south in Belarus for local authorities to issue a cry for help to identify a dangerous criminal who acted as if he was the last man on earth stealing a vehicle from a shopping mall in Minsk.

The stolen yellow Pooh-bear ride is believed to be worth around 15 million Belarusian Rubles or about 40 cases of beer at $1,000.

Here’s the statement from Minsk Police who also released surveillance footage from the incident on their official YouTube channel:

“Zoo-mobile abducted from the mall. Hijacker captured on camera

On May 6, at around 22:30pm, in the mall down the street of Kamennogorsk, an unknown young man kidnapped a children’s zoomobil worth about 15 million Rubles.

Surveillance cameras captured the guy in the blue tracksuit talking on a cell phone before sitting down on a children’s electric car. He saddled the bear and pushed his way down the foyer, and then proceeded to the exit from the shopping center and after on the street. Riding the same vehicle, the attacker fled towards an unknown direction.

If you know the young man in the video or have information about his whereabouts, please contact the Frunze district police department of Minsk in person or by phone: 8 (044) 581-11-26, 8 (017) 257-02-02.

Confidentiality is guaranteed.

Veronica Strelskaya, press officer of the Frunze district police department.”
