The ending of Furious 7 has been digitally reenacted in the wondrous world of Grand Theft Auto 5, and it’s become quite a hit these past few days. It features the same scenes, shot from the same angles and, of course, the soundtrack is Wiz Khalifa’s Paul Walker tribute tune.
GTA Wise Guy is not the only YouTuber to have created such a video, but his effort is arguably the most successful. It’s not exactly recreated, because that would have been impossible, yet you know it’s still good if it delivers the same… emotional message about the late Paul Walker.
The only thing that kind of ruins the effect are the stiff facial animations, but we’ll have to wait for GTA VI to have more expressive ones.
