The Ferrari Testarosa is more of a mid-engined GT car, rather than a pure supercar, which is why it was definitely a good choice when Harry Metcalfe of EVO and now Harry’s Garge fame took his on a trip to Morocco.

He didn’t just visit the Moroccan coast, which is fairly straightforward as you travel there on a ferry from Spain, but he actually drove across the country to the outskirts of the Sahara desert. Naturally, while Morocco’s roads are paved and well kept, there are plenty of ones that are the exact opposite.

Even so, occasionally traveling over washboard-like gravel roads, all that went wrong on the Ferrari over the 2,000-mile trip were a couple of electrical niggles that were fairly easily sortable on the spot.

The trip was definitely worth it for shots of the Testarossa doing light off-roading in between dunes, as well as that magic moment when it works its way up the windy road that cuts through the Atlas mountains. Scroll down for the video.
