Porsche and Volkswagen have always been close to each other right from their very beginnings, with Porsche founder Ferdinand Porsche being the man responsible for VW’s most famous car ever, the Beetle.

Heck, even today, you can see remnants of the original Beetle in the latest Porsche 911 and specifically, it’s mechanical layout and boxer-type engine!

While there are miles and miles of tech separating one of Porsche’s finest cars ever made, the 959 built between 1986 and 1989 and the classic Bug, we can help but smile at this replica-creation based on the Beetle.
