We already know Seat will launch a compact SUV based on the 20V20 study next year, but the Spanish brand has bigger plans when it comes to crossovers.

Seat is also planning to introduce a subcompact SUV which will share the platform with the next-generation Ibiza hatchback. The Seat SUV will compete with models like the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, Opel Mokka and other small crossovers.

While reports say Seat’s small SUV will arrive a year after the compact model, there’s no additional information available, let alone hints about the design.

Photoshoper Remco Meulendijk believes the small Seat crossover will plausibly use design cues from the 20V20-derived production model, as well as the Leon and Ibiza. His renderings give us a pretty good idea of what a small SUV from Seat could look like, don’t you think?
