Have you ever seen someone rodeo a 1000 HP Jeep?

Rodeo is a dangerous competitive sport, which implies to sit as long as you can on a “wild” and very angry animal. But it does look like a walk in the park compared to taming a 1000 horsepower Willys Jeep.

Justin, the guy in the video below, took an ordinary 1952 Army Willys Jeep and stuffed an LSx 4.2-litre Small Block V8 under its hood. If that wasn’t extreme enough, he then added a D1 Procharger Supercharger and a couple of Nitrous bottles, just for “funsies”.

The result? A 1000 HP beast which struggles and fights to throw poor Justin off its back. Mind you, the rider doesn’t have a seatbelt to hold him tight and the only thing to hold on is the steering wheel.

Still, he tames the monster and manages a drag time of 7.1 seconds on a 1/8 mile. Not bad, for something that wants to kill you first and win races later.
