It would appear that Dodge is definitely on a roll when it comes to being creative with the ways in which they’re promoting their cars.
Naturally, this mostly applies to their top of the range models such as fast versions of the Challenger, Charger, Durango and so on. Nobody’s going out of their way to make a great spot for the 2.4 liter 173 HP entry-level Dodge Journey.
In this video (part of the Dodge Brothers series), we’re looking at the Charger R/T Scat Pack, a car that will give you 485 HP to play with – which still makes one of the fastest mid-sized saloon cars in the world, even though it’s not as quick as the Hellcat version.
But there’s something else that’s interesting about this video. The car is trying to communicate with us via Morse Code while the narrator lets us know that if we could indeed decipher it, we’d be pretty offended.
Well, there are people out there capable of doing that and what they found is that the blinking Charger is telling us that “You just spent five minutes decoding a Morse Code message from a Dodge YouTube Description”.
Ha-ha, very funny guys, except that we spent approximately 15 seconds typing “Morse Code translator” into our browser, pasted the code that was already in the description and we already had the answer.
Next time try not giving it away that easily and we’ll definitely be more impressed.
