Just like with that famous line from the first F&F movie, this McLaren 650S driver should be particularly proud of himself for standing up to what often is a formidable opponent.

But as Vin Diesel’s character taught us back then, winning is winning and that’s what the Twin Turbo Gallardo generally does best.

This one however wasn’t a 1,000+ HP machine like you get from Underground Racing or Dallas Performance. This Twin Turbo kit from Titan is allegedly good for around 800-900 HP, but we don’t have an exact number for you – it certainly wasn’t enough to obliterate the 650S.

Still, what’s clear is that the McLaren 650S is shifting through the gears much quicker. It actually put up a great fight until those turbochargers kicked in and pushed the Lambo ahead, just before both cars needed to start slowing down.

Even though this Gallardo wasn’t “top of the food chain” material, it would have still been a great win for the McLaren if indeed it could have pulled it off.

Also, the end did kind of remind us of another F&F moment, when one racer would press the NOS button too soon, and his opponent knew it.

It’s easy to imagine the Gallardo driver thinking something similar when watching the McLaren take the lead for a little while. A sort of “Ha, just wait for it!” moment.

Very interesting race overall.
