The Lamborghini Aventador has been made much faster and edgier with the modifications brought to the formula in SV guise.

This is not only immediately obvious through the blistering Nurburgring lap it’s capable of, but also this video review by EVO, which says it feels like a completely different car to the regular one.

They say it doesn’t necessarily feel all that much faster on the straights, although 100 km/h or 62 mph does come up in under 3 seconds and top speed is 350+km/h or 217+mph – that’s near-hypercar territory.

It sounds like it has a different buying public in mind, as it feels edgier and more feisty around the bends. Apparently, it’s more of a handful because of the extra power and more aggressive settings – imagine what a rear-wheel drive only stripped out Aventador would be like; a Balboni-like Superleggera variant with as much power as the SV…
