Most of you probably don’t know that there is a thing called ‘Underground Drone Racing’ in Australia, where several enthusiasts gather in abandoned warehouses in order to race each other with their customized drones.

The thing that makes the difference, though, is the first person point of view they achieve by installing cameras on their quadcopters and then streaming the feed directly to handmade goggles, often held together with gaffer tape.

The First Person View (FPV) Racing is currently considered one of the next big things, gaining in popularity and there are even talks about even becoming a full-blown organized sport. Judging from the videos, it’s not too difficult to see why.

How good is this view I hear you ask. Pretty damn good I might answer.
