It’s amazing what a tasteful aero kit and subtle embellishments can do to an utterly commonplace car like the Opel Karl (known as the Vauxhall Viva in the UK).

Opel’s affordable city car may never receive an OPC performance kit, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see what a Karl OPC would look like. Photoshop manipulator X-Tomi has rendered the humble city car with OPC design elements once again, only this time more convincingly.

The virtual kit includes more aggressive bumpers, dark grey alloy wheels, OPC’s distinctive blue color, as well as black mirror caps and grille insert.

He also reduced the ground clearance, darkened the headlights and added gray frames for the fog lights, with the result being a rather different Karl than the one soon arriving in Opel showrooms. What do you think?
