Peugeot wants us to know it’s readying the reveal of the 308 GTi so instead of videos or teaser shots, they chose to create a never ending looping vine, showing off a few details.

Being a teaser, informing the viewer is not its purpose – instead, it tries to infuse the upcoming hot hatch with a sense of fizziness and fun. We really do hope the actual car reflects those two qualities. As for technical specifications, we already suspect that the 308 GTi will use the same 266 hp engine from the RCZ R.

This means it will be comparable to the fastest names in the segment for the very first time – the previous 308 GTi was a warm hatch by the latest standards.

The model will make its official debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which runs from June 25 – 28, but you don’t have to wait that long to see it because it was spotted with no camo out on the road.
