Rolls Royce Unveils Bespoke Porto Cervo Wraith

This is the second consecutive year Rolls-Royce celebrates its “Summer Studio” at the exclusive enclave of Porto Cervo.

This unique experience fostered by the British marque offers guests an insight into the pretentious world of Rolls Royce, in a relaxed atmosphere on the Costa Smeralda village of Porto Cervo.

Usually, the “Studio” showcases the latest automobiles which carry the Spirit of Ecstasy, providing visitors the opportunity to learn about the static exhibits in luxurious surrounding, or to drive them along Costa Smeralda.

Isobel Dando, General Manager of Retail Development for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, stated in 2014 that “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has always been focused on the needs and interests of its discerning patrons, and so we find it highly appropriate to present our vehicles and services to them in a place where many of them spend their summer holidays”.

Here’s the deal, the Sardinian resort of Porto Cervo is one of the most exclusive in Europe and has a total population of 421 inhabitants, most of them celebrities and other affluent individuals. Here, the house prices don’t fall below the high seven figure mark and that’s why Rolls-Royce has chosen the area to showcase its bespoke vehicles.

This year, the Bespoke Design division of the high-end car manufacturer unveiled, in addition to the vibrant metallic-orange beauty, the Porto Cervio Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Being limited to only three examples, this Wraith was specially commissioned for the Summer Studio and was inspired by Costa Smeralda. Obviously, the colors resemble the blue Mediterranean coastline and the “Navy Blue” accents of the interior echo the yacht cult that revolves around the location.

An arctic white interior with personalized headrest embroidery was chosen in contrast with the car’s main color to further elevate the “yacht and sea” motif.

The same 6,592 cc V12 twin-turbo which outputs 623 HP and 800 NM can be found under the hood and that’s quite enough to seep the big 2.4 tone boat from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 Mph) in a mere 4.4 seconds.
