Scion’s best-selling car, the tC sports coupe, has received a series of standard features for the 2016 model year.

A new standard audio system is the most important in a series of upgraded interior features that also include a Smart Key with push-button start.

The new audio system has a 7-inch Pioneer touchscreen Display Audio system with AM/FM/HD radio, voice recognition, Bluetooth hands-free and streaming audio, as well as the Aha app which provides access to 100,000 Internet radio options.

Other interior updates for the 2016 Scion tC include new silver interior door handles, a new center console tray cover and a leather-wrapped shift knob.

The tC has also received a standard rear windshield wiper for 2016.

The 2016 Scion tC will arrive in dealerships starting in August with a slightly higher Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The base model fitted with the six-speed manual transmission is priced from $19,385 – $200 more than the 2015 model. The 2016 Scion tC equipped with the six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management starts from $20,535. Both prices exclude a delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $795.
