The all-new Hyundai Tucson returns to its original name in Europe, ditching the ix35 moniker. It also looks much better than its predecessor, but that’s just my opinion.

Whether you like it or not, the new Hyundai Tucson brings two important technical updates in Europe, including a 175PS (172hp) 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine and the brand’s new 7-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission, offered as an option.

Longer and wider than its predecessor, the new Tucson promises improved interior space, with Hyundai claiming it is the widest car in its segment.

Hyundai Motor Europe PR director David Fitzpatrick presents the main features of the new Tucson in a new walk-around presentation video. If you ignore the obvious PR praises, you may be able to learn a thing or two about what’s new on the Hyundai Tucson.
