The time to gaze at Ford’s bespoke Mustang, inspired from the Apollo project, has come.

Like we wrote before, this cool looking white Mustang Is Ford’s latest bespoke stallion inspired by aviation; the latest creation in a series of one-off, special Mustangs, manufactured and donated for auction in order to support the Experimental Aircraft Association’s youth aviation program.

The car’s white and black, non-production paint scheme is a direct homage to the Apollo project. Furthermore, the theme carries on in the inside, where an embroidered logo – composed of all Apollo mission patches – is gracefully positioned where the backseat used to be.

Granted, the interior is garnished with Apollo throwbacks, including a modified instrument cluster, performance gauges, new seats with custom leather and other several modifications, but nothing as cool as that emblem.

Exterior-wise, the car looks awesome enough to make you drool like an infant. Mad industries was responsible for its…mad looks. It has a time-attack carbon fiber front splitter, a rear diffuser and an LED underbody lightning, which symbolizes atmospheric re-entry. How cool is that? Oh, and it sits on 21-inch Forgiato performance alloys.

And guess what? No Apollo project is complete without a powerful engine to boost it up to space. That’s why the Mustang features a 5.0-litre Coyote supercharged by Ford Performance, which develops 627 horses and 732 Nm (540 lb-ft) of torque.

It also has an X-pipe with side and rear exhausts, sport tuned suspension, and six-piston Brembo brakes. Now all it needs is to go to the Moon and back.
