Jaguar’s Upcoming F-Type SVR Could Go AWD Only

Now that people have become adjusted to the idea of a Jaguar coupe with all-wheel drive, we’re now going to talk about one you won’t be able to buy without – the upcoming F-Type SVR.

Created as a rival to the Porsche 911 Turbo, the car will apparently be only offered in that configuration, says CAR. They don’t add any specifics, just say that it’d probably be quite a lairy thing to drive were it to get excessively more powerful and channel all the power through its rear wheels alone.

If it gets close to 600 hp or more, then it will really enter the league of the hotter Mercedes AMG GT and the Nissan GT-R Nismo.

What do you think: is offering a Jaguar coupe exclusively with all wheel drive off-putting, or would you still buy and love one if it was good to drive and properly fast?
