It’s not that easy being Jeremy Clarkson – no, really, I’m serious. I’m not trying to make a “smart” remark, or be ironic in any way. You might see him alongside a nero LaFerrari, an AMG GT and a 488 GTB and think “boy, that’s one lucky sob”, but the truth is the circumstances are a little… sad.

Posting the image on Twitter, the former Top Gear presenter asked the fans which car should he use for his “last ever lap” of Dunsfold Park Circuit, also known as the Top Gear Test Track.

Unfortunately, I don’t know exactly which car Jezza took around the track and, frankly, I like to think he had a go in all of them. What I do know is that he shared his experience with Pink Floyd member Nick Mason and racing driver Marino Franchitti.

In fact, I bet that the black LaFerrari belongs to Nick Mason, as the drummer has a history of lending exclusive prancing horses to Jeremy. For “testing”, of course.

This “track day” comes 4 months after the Roundhouse charity event, in which Clarkson auctioned a drive around the Top Gear circuit with whoever brought in the most cash, stating:

“I’ll drive somebody around in whatever I can get hold of. I’m sacked so it’s probably an Austin Maestro. So who knows? But anyway it will be my last ever lap of the Top Gear track.”

Well, as you can see, the top best bidders did quite a lot more than bringing an Austin Maestro.
