Austria-based contract manufacturer Magna Steyr will reportedly build between 50,000 and 70,000 next-generation BMW 5-Series a year at its production base in Graz.

According to a report from Automobil Produktion cited by AutoNews Europe, the German carmaker will outsource some production of the 5-Series lineup to Magna Steyr after the Austrian company stops building the Mini Paceman and Countryman at the end of this year.

Company sources said BMW hasn’t decided yet which variants of the 5-Series will be built in Austria.

The current BMW 5-Series is built at BMW’s plant in Dingolfing, Germany, and is the brand’s second best seller worldwide after the 3-Series. BMW sold 373,053 5-Series models and 480,214 units of the 3-Series range in 2014.

BMW did not comment on the report and didn’t say where it intends to move future production of the Mini Countryman either. The Paceman will be dropped as Mini will reorganize its lineup around five core models.

Magna Steyr declined to comment as well, but last year the company announced it had signed a contract to continue building BMW Group vehicles. Jaguar Land Rover recently said Magna Steyr would build JLR vehicles as well, without naming the models.

Besides the Mini Countryman and Paceman, the Austria-based contract manufacturer currently builds the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Peugeot RCZ in Graz.
