What car has a ridiculous name like the Tartan Prancer? A ridiculous car, obviously.

The Tartan Prancer is a one-off MPV built specifically for the new Vacation movie. While the original National Lampoon’s Vacation comedy movie introduced us to the Wagon Queen Family Truckster station wagon, the follow-up film features a custom-made minivan that has all sorts of crazy features.

Dubbed the “Honda of Albania” in the movie, the Tartan Prancer is loosely based on the Toyota Previa and features unconventional styling elements such as two front ends (with two sets of headlights taken from the Land Rover Discovery/LR3), two sets of rearview mirrors as well as a series of other absurd features.

To promote the movie, the producers shot a hilarious spoof commercial in Albanian and commissioned a funny review from Edmunds’ Carlos Lago, in which the Prancer is pitted against the 2015 Honda Odyssey.
