Mercedes-AMG has released new photos of the upcoming C63 Coupe on the Hockenheimring, where the model has undergone the final check-up.

It’s the first time Mercedes shows photos of the entire car, although the high-performance version of the C-Class Coupe is still wearing heavy camouflage.

Obviously, the front end of the car is very familiar from the C63 sedan and estate models, while the rear end should be quite similar to the S-Class Coupe – albeit at a smaller scale.

The Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will be powered by a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 476PS (470hp) in the base model and 510PS (503hp) in the C63 S Coupe. In both cases, the engine will be mated to an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed sport transmission with paddle shifters sending power to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential.

The new model will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September but Mercedes will reveal it online on August 19.
