What’s the difference between a casual skilled rider and a motorcycle racer? Well, you’re going to find out after watching this amazing video.

Let me set the stage; a Moto 3 race, a pack of riders battling for eight points and lots and lots of adrenaline. Coming up in the second to last corner, Niklas Ajo’s KTM loses its balance and kicks the motorcycle racer off the saddle.

What happens next is amazing, as the Finn managed to save the restive bike, steering it away from the wall.

He crossed the finish line in 17th place, in a totally different manner sport aficionados grown accustom to over the years. I won’t spoil the video for you… No, wait, I will; by attaching a picture from Ajo’s Instragram profile, showing him crossing the checkered flag on his knees.

This just shows that every rider on the starting grid is a skilled athlete, even if he’s battling for 1st place, 8th, or 17th.

What a race yesterday? the front group got away already in the start so the race was just fighting in the second group. I was able to lead the group until the last corner but pushed a bit too much there and finished like this? was a scary moment but I wanted to finish the race in any way and I think that was a pretty unique way!! #rbaracingteam#avant #batteryenergydrink#nautical#karavasauna#duell#javetech#angelmamakela#petajavedenmetalli#arai#alpinestarsA photo posted by Niklas Ajo (@niklasajo31) on Jun 28, 2015 at 1:16am PDT
