The Scion iM is a straight up rebadge job, but that only means it’s going to be a lot like the Toyota Auris – that’s no bad thing. The Auris is known to be easy to drive and live with, as well as very practical.

The Scion iM is nearly identical to the Euro variant, so it leaves a similar impression. AutoGuide tested it and discovered that aside from not being sporty or particularly engaging to drive, it’s by no means a bad car.

It’s also going to be an unusual appearance on US roads, and for some it may be a nice thought to know their car is a Euro model adapted to be sold Stateside. Some like the Europeanness of cars and since the Auris  is a Euro-centric model, you can tell your friends about it at the bar without knowing deep down inside that you’re not truthful.
