Remember the video that recreated GTA V in the real world? Well, it doesn’t hold a candle to this real-life chase when a man stole a police car in New Jersey.

It all started at around 3:30pm Sunday in Englewood Cliffs when 22-year-old Sereymanta Kong first carjacked a woman’s Mercedes-Benz SUV when she stopped to help him as he was lying in the middle of the street.

Police caught up with him, but amazingly, after a struggle with officers, he somehow managed to steal one of their Ford Crown Victoria cruisers (!) leading to a second chase that went through several more towns.

At one point of the 22 minute-long chase, (6 minutes into the shortened version of the cruiser dash-cam), he even managed to pull a PIT maneuver, or precision immobilization technique, on one of the patrol cars!

The cops finally managed to force him off the road and disable his car. Kong ran on foot and while fighting with the police, he was able to steal a gun from one officer’s holster while biting another one’s leg before he was subdued!

The young man still had plenty of fight in him, as according to North Jersey, while being treated at the Bergen Regional Medical Center on Monday, he “became combative” when a nurse tried to give him medication and he ended up hurting an officer who was guarding him, bringing the tally to four injured cops.
