Believe it or not, this awesome looking bike isn’t real.
It’s just a project created by a talented guy named Jans Slapins, who isn’t affiliated with Tesla in any way. That said, this red beast of a thing is called the Tesla Model M and it’s one of the coolest renders I’ve seen in a while.

You may argue that this is nothing more than a “fantasy render” that will never happen and you’re probably right. But this project is actually a designer’s vision of a battery-powered Telsa motorbike and it was way to cool to let it slip under the radar, to be honest.

So, what’s so special about it? Well, apart from the fact that it brings an infusion of uber-coolness in the boring world of electric… stuff, it also looks like something we expected all along from the actual manufacturer – a wicked creation to live-up to the name.

Don’t get me wrong, the Model S is a nice and wonderful car, but with a name like Tesla, one would expect something more than a battery-powered, four-door family sedan. Where’s the madness, where’s the badassery? Granted, the family sedan comes with some ludicrous options, especially the P85D, but still.

Visually, the two-wheeler resembles the massive sport touring bikes of old, like the Münch Mammoth. Its heftiness comes from the electric motor and the ithium-ion batteries mounted as low as possible within the frame – respecting the Model S engineering philosophy. Just look at that air vent designed to channel air to the batteries to cool them down. According to Silodrome, the electric 150kW motor comes with four computer-controlled modes: Race, Cruise, Standard and Eco.

Where you would expect to find a fuel tank on a regular bike, this one has a water-tight storage space for a backpack, laptop, or any other things. The cool looking rims are meant to be constructed out of carbon fiber and the bike lacks a transmission because, you know… it’s electric.

That means the torque is instant and produced at 0 RPM, which translates into a very brutal acceleration. The P85D of motorbikes. Of course, if somebody would decide to create such a beast, it would probably have a torque vectoring system to keep the rider from being thrown away in a swift start.
