If you are someone who’s not strapped for cash, has a driveway and who wants some kind of in-city transport that’s compact, green and safer than a scooter, than the Renault Twizy is a good way to go.

If you had at least one other car for longer journeys or for carrying extra passengers and cargo, the Twizy would most likely suite your daily commuting needs, if these don’t imply lots of highway driving.

CarThrottle reviewed the car in a semi-silly manner, trying to discover if there really is some substance behind its promise. It turns out there is but that it only addresses a small number of people, those who fit into the first paragraph description – it would surely find some owners in the US too…
