McLaren is raising the temperatures as its fastest, most-focused yet Super Series model approaches its commercial debut.

The British maker has released a short video showing the limited 675LT at its natural environment, exercising its full potential on track and letting us hear the anger coming out of its twin-turbo 666hp 3.8-litre V8.

The McLaren 675LT will be produced in 500 units only, making it similarly rare with the ultimate P1, and is considered the most hardcore version of Woking’s core model yet. Lighter by more than 100kg than the 650S, the 675LT produces 40 per cent more downforce while the gearshifts of its seven-speed SSG double-clutch gearbox is said to be twice as fast.

Zero to 62mph (0-100km/h) comes in 2.9 seconds, 0-124mph (0-200km/h) in 7.9(!) seconds with the top speed of a 205mph-330km/h.

Is it me or is it really hot in here?
