If you’re done giggling like a Japanese schoolgirl at the sight of this pint-sized BMW M3 E30 wannabe, then perhaps we can tell you a little bit about it.

It was created by design students from the Nihon Automobile College (NATS) and was initially displayed at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon before making its way to the more recent 2015 Bangkok International Auto Show.

Named the MBW 550, it was built around the JDM Suzuki Mighty Boy – an odd offering in itself from the 550cc or 0.55-liter engine era (1976-1990) of Japan’s Kei class automobiles.

The students gave Suzuki’s mini “Coupe Utility” model a somewhat convincing M3 E30 makeover on the front together with BMW Motorsports livery on the rest of the body, but fell short at the back where they tossed in a set of what appear to be E34 5-Series taillights.

Well, go ahead, have your say in the comments.
