The most hardcore, street-legal supercar of them all is gearing up to touch American soil. That’s right, ladies and gents, the Koenigsegg One:1 is getting ready to make its North American debut during Monterey Car Week 2015.

According to the guys who made it, this monstrous automobile will be shown at three events during Classic Car Week. So, if you’re close to the Monterey Jet Center, the Quail Lodge and Golf Club, or the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway, on 12th, 14th and 15th of August, we strongly advise you to go and see the beast in the flesh. In fact, we strongly advise you to go to those events anyway, even if you’re not a fan of Koenigsegg’s work, because there will be a lot of various cars.

But back to the One:1; after setting a high standard and braking countless of records on the Old Continent, the Swedish supermachine is coming to the New World to make its debut. We’d love to see it go hard around the Laguna Seca circuit, but we’re pretty certain that won’t happen. Still, with 1360 metric horses and 1360 Kilograms, the car’s perfect power-to-weight ratio ensures a blistering performance that cannot stop it from achieving its goals (except for Nurburgring, that’s the only thing that can stop it).

With only 6 examples made, the One:1 remains one of the most exclusives Koenigsegg out there. Furthermore, the car being presented at Monterey this week is the last of the bunch and will be deliverd to its American owner soon after the events are over.
