We didn’t get to see one second of actual game-play in the first ever trailer for the third installment in the appreciated Mafia game series.

However, we did get introduced to the unnamed protagonist, and we catch a glimpse of three of his partners in crime, but we have no idea how the game will play.

Yes, it will be a third-person action/driving title like its predecessors and so many others, but we are looking for subtlety here, which is what could make or break it.

The information that we do have concentrates on the setting: it will be a New Orleans-ish city, in 1968, which we imagine will have swamps and the ocean on the other. Judging by the trailer, you will frequently go out of town to dispose of things and people, and the trailer focuses on one such event.

The game is set for release later this year, for PC, PlayStation4 and Xbox One.
