Modern hot hatchbacks are so evolved that, when tuned, they can easily give supercars a run for their money.

Until recently, the RS3 Sportback was leading the premium hot hatch segment. Then Mercedes-Benz came along with the A 45 AMG boasting 381 PS, trumping its rival in performance.

If you’re an RS3 fan and you don’t want to be overpowered by anybody in any type of A-Class, you’re in luck. All you have to do is install ABT Sportsline’s new power kit, which raises the RS3’s output to 430 PS and 530 Nm of torque. What this means is that it will hit the 100 km/h mark in just 4.1 seconds, faster than both the stock model as well as the A 45 AMG.

Furthermore, its top speed has been increased from 250 km/h (155 mph), obviously electronically limited, to 285 km/h (177 mph). If that’s still not enough, you’ll be glad to know that ABT has already started working on an even more impressive power kit, so stay tuned.
