Now that the W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is on its way, we’re all excited to see what it ultimately ends up looking like, which goes double for the AMG version, of course.

Fans of different designs among Mercedes products are probably going to be disappointed, but those of you who don’t mind the brand’s new-found design uniformity, well, you’re definitely in luck!

Truth is, I can’t want to see this car camo-free, especially since we’re anticipating over 600 PS (at least from the AMG-S version). Add to that the 4Matic all-wheel drive system and you’ve probably got a real winner in terms of getting off the line about as fast as any other super sedan in the world, if not faster.

Since we’re quite a long way away from checking out a final product, we can still enjoy this rendering of the ‘Mercedes-AMG E63 S’, which looks pretty accurate when compared to our spy shots.

The grille is spot on and probably so is the front spoiler. It’s the headlights I have a slight issue with since by looking at the spy pics, you can clearly see they don’t stretch as far up towards the hood, which by the way, won’t look like this.

As for the LED strips, they do look cool but we have no way of telling if there will be two of them or just one like you see on the S-Class. Personally, I like the two-strip look, as it reminds me of the current generation E-Class, a car that lots of people are going to miss.

Overall, the W213 E63 AMG is probably going to kick some serious behinds in terms of performance. In terms of looks though, we’ll have to wait and see – either way, don’t expect Mercedes to drop the ball on this one.
