Watching an air-cooled Porsche 911 being enjoyed on a canyon road is one of the coolest spectacles.
Driving one is even better. Alexander Bermudez wasn’t going to buy this hot-rodded 1990 964 but he did and now declares himself obsessed with his car and the driving experience behind its wheel in the latest Petrolicious episode.
“For me, it’s just about the emotional experience. The Growler is a pretty interesting blend. It’s not too raw, but when you want the feedback from a raw car, it gives it to you, and gives it to you in spades,” Bermudez says.
Porsche aficionados have placed the later air-cooled 911s very high in their chain of command, and the only reason you need is this guy’s smile when he talks about his car.
