While the Mulsanne might not be everyone’s favorite luxury car in terms of looks, you should question its refinement and performance at your own risk.

Sure, many of us could do without that goofy front end, but some people actually don’t mind it and reviewers have found the car surprisingly agile for its size.

Speaking of that stuff, you’re very well taken care of while driving a Mulsanne when putting your right foot down. Underneath that bonnet lies a 513 PS, 1,020 Nm (752 lb-ft) V8 engine, capable of propelling you towards 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 296 km/h (183 mph).

If you go for the Speed version, you get a little bit of extra muscle and that drops your 100 km/h sprint time to just 4.9 seconds and raises the top speed to 305 km/h (189 mph). Bottom line, it’s quick, it’s huge, and it’s certainly luxurious once you start feeling around inside.

But how does it fare with a set of ADV.1 custom wheels you may ask? In the case of these 22″ matte black ADV15 MV2 SLs, rather well I would say.

They have a simple yet classy 15-spoke design which may not be the most elegant you’ve ever seen, but it seems to match the design of the car pretty well (and the color too, with this model in particular).

Those of you who find this car to have a rather unapologetic design, know that you’re not alone. This can be both a good thing or a bad thing, it just depends on who you ask.
