Fiat has pulled off what has to be one of the least noticeable facelifts in recent memory when it updated the 500. You only really notice the different rear lights, as the front will look exactly the same to most people until the changes are pointed out.

But why change it, when it’s won over millions of buyers around the world as is for nearly a decade? The automaker has done an excellent job in hiding the 1,800 changes it made for the facelift – it’s like those Chinese copycat lawsuits where the accused starts pointing to the many areas where their car is different and winning in the end.

What else is new with the 500? Well, aside from the exterior styling tweaks, it gets a central digital display in the instrument panel, another one atop the center stack for the new infotainment system plus some material changes.
