As far as 911 (991) exterior mods go, this pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber kit from Vorsteiner is definitely one of the best we’ve seen.

We’ve come a long way since the V-RT kit was turning the old 911 (997) into an annoyingly bulky-looking thing. With this newer design, the front fascia is much less invasive, while the carbon vented fenders add positively to the car’s “race track” persona.

The ten-spoke forged wheels are wearing Pirelli rubber and feature a classic, yet revealing design, which further exposes the hidden hardware.

Since the 991-series 911 is arguably the sleekest 911 ever built, any sort of exterior modifications that make it look even more aggressive or even more “hunkered down”, can only be seen as an improvement. Unless of course you’re completely against that sort of thing and like your 911s the way they came out of the factory.

While we don’t have any details regarding performance, we might assume that sections of the kit such as the bumpers are lighter than the factory ones – otherwise, it would be “all show and no go”…or rather no “extra go”.

Overall, the V-RT kit from Vorsteiner should turn your 911 into something that looks more at home on the race track than in your drive way. Kind of like a GT3.
