There’s no denying the new Renault Talisman sedan is an imposing looking car, with strong simple lines and a definite sculptural quality given by the extra care for proportions. These can either make or break a design but thankfully here they were a strong point of focus.
Renault’s design boss, Laurens van den Acker, shows us around the new car in the two videos posted below. One focuses on the exterior design, while the other highlights the fresh design inside.
It’s not only the way he portrays the design, although it does help, but on first impression it’d seem Renault has succeeded in adding a hefty dose of premium ambiance in the Talisman package.
The car really does seem luxurious, even if it’s nothing more than a mainstream sedan with clean design; there is a whiff of Infiniti about it and that’s no accident as Renault is deeply linked to Nissan these days.
