These are the first teaser photos of the upcoming Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible, which will be unveiled on September 8, a week before its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

As one would expect from a Rolls-Royce, the Dawn will be a very luxurious vehicle handcrafted using the finest materials.

The photos give us a glimpse at the interior, which features fine wood and leather trim on the dashboard, shiny metallic accents and a beautiful analog clock. Just like the Wraith, the cabin will offer seating for four.

Another photo reveals that the doors open backwards, just as on the Wraith. There will be quite a few differences compared to the coupe, besides the obvious canvas roof. The rear end of the Rolls-Royce Dawn is said to be quite different from the Wraith, and the profile of the car with the top up looks more dynamic.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn will share underpinnings with the Wraith coupe, meaning it should be powered by the same 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 624hp (630PS).
