Even though these guys are generally successful at getting people to move their illegally parked cars and things of that nature, trying to get the cops to cooperate is much harder.

Russia’s ‘Stop a D-Bag’ movement is very popular on YouTube. They often get drivers to move their double-parked cars, they get people to stop driving on the sidewalk and recently they even managed to clear a few parking spots that were wrongfully closed to the public.

So yes, people generally tend to root for them – while those that still insist on breaking the law, get one or more stickers put on their windshield, and they’re really difficult to remove!

This time, however, trying to rationalize with Russian police officers without bruising their ego in public, turned out to be a very tough task.

I won’t spoil the video too much for you, but I will say that unfortunately, the cops did make a valid point themselves in trying to get the guys to move back onto the sidewalk instead of stepping into the street.

Also, they didn’t put a sticker on the police car, which was probably a good idea since people tend to give different meanings to the word “vandalism” nowadays.

By law, it’s only vandalism if you cause damage to somebody else’s property – and putting a sticker on a window doesn’t even register as damage, especially if you take it to a car wash and have it cleaned properly.
